Hi All,
My name is Hunter, and my Mom, along with all of the people at
GO Boxer Rescue (GOBR), are telling me that I am a Star,
whatever that is. For that reason they have asked me to tell
you my story.
It all
started for me right here in GOBR. My mother, Sweetpea, was
just one of many Boxers that were confiscated from a puppy
mill in Kentucky, and she was already pregnant with me, as
well as my brother and sister, when she came to GOBR. We kids
were very lucky! We were born into a safe, warm, loving home
with a foster Mom named Pam, not in a cold, dirty and
sometimes wet barn.Hi All,

When
our Mom went into labor, another volunteer came to help and
keep Miss Pam company. I was the first born, and this other
volunteer fell in love with me immediately, so Patti became my
furever Mom. Shortly after we were born, we were all moved to
my furever home as Miss Pam had to help her little
Granddaughter. So my human parents became the foster parents
to my Mom and siblings. And boy did they do a great job with
all of us. You see, it is not always easy raising such young
puppies, and Sweetpea needed a lot of help with us. In no time
at all we were growing strong and healthy, and Sweetpea was
also regaining her health and strength. We were all very
lucky, as we all grew and improved, it didn’t take the
volunteers long to find us all great furever homes.
Then one day, GOBR and my Mom heard that Animal Planet was taking applications for the next Puppy Bowl. So GOBR decided my Mom should send in a picture, along with a little information
about me.
