Bristol
Hi
Everyone,
My name is Bristol. I'm almost one year old, and a big
girl at almost 75 pounds already. My life before I came
in to Greater Ohio Boxer Rescue was one of being bounced from
home to home and nobody really spending time with me to teach
me manners. I am a very loving girl and love to play
with my toys in my Foster Home.
They
are telling me I have a number of flaws that need correcting,
course I don't see anything wrong with the way I am. Any
way, here's what they say I need to improve on. I pull
like crazy on leash. I jump at the windows and doors
really hard, and my Foster Mom is scared I'm going to go
through one, any time I see hear anyone or anything
outside. I also bark like crazy at anyone or anything
outside. I'm not always good with other dogs, even
though I do like to play with them most of the time.
I'm
very smart, and everyone knows I can learn to behave, but
being a thinking girl, I don't always want to listen to them,
because I was allowed to become this way in my past life in
the various homes I was bounced around in. Thanks to a
demonstration by some nice people we've found out that I am
really responsive to being trained into what I should be by
the use of a Vibrating Collar (not shock mind you), but this
training is very, very expensive and GOBR has limited
funds. The poor economy has reduced the donations they
receive over the last year or so, just like everywhere.
Would
you be willing to send a little bit of money to help them pay
for my specialized training? You can send a check or money
order to GO Boxer Rescue at P.O. Box 621, Dayton, OH 45405,
and make a note that it is for my (Bristol) training.
Any Sponsorship Donations are tax deductible.
Thanks
for helping me become the great Boxer girl everyone knows I
can be, and that I really want to be.
Boxer slurps to you,
