Won’t you take a look at me?
My name is Nora and I am 77 pounds of pure beauty! I’ve been
told that I am about two years old and am a Mastiff/Bulldog
mix.
When my Foster Mom
first rescued me from a high-kill shelter, I was emaciated,
sick, and scared. Together we worked very hard,
though, to turn me into the beauty queen that I am today.
I’m not shy in admitting that I am a beauty queen because
you should see my coat! It is a gorgeous and unique blend of
reverse brindle with a blue undercoat. Of course we know
that beauty is only skin deep so you will see that I even
have a pageant queen personality. I am a lover and very
eager to please.
Now, even we beauty queens have our limitations and mine
happens to be cats and possibly other small dogs. It would
be best for all parties involved if we just kept our
distance.
Though
I do not really like small critters, I do love other dogs
and would really do well in a house with a new brother or
sister. You see, I’ve learned a lot from my foster brother.
Before I came to my foster home I didn’t know how to play,
have fun with toys, or walk on a leash. By watching my
foster brother, though, I’ve learned what to do and how to
act. I would even be able to learn other “dog” stuff and
enjoy the company when you are away.
Speaking of being away; I really don’t like when you are
gone. I’m still just afraid you might not come back. To help
with this, my Foster Mom gives me some medicine and I get to
wear a really special dog collar that releases dog
pheromones. Both of these help me a lot!
I also just had my annual physical - everything was
great! I am UTD with shots and am on heartworm
preventative. I am spayed, house trained, and micro chipped
as well.
Do you

sure hope so because I am a great girl who will be so happy
laying around on my cozy dog bed and following you around.

Note: Nora may not be fit for small children, but only because
she does jump when excited and she is very strong. Otherwise,
Nora is super gentle so it could work from a temperament
perspective.
