Hi, my name is Bailey Sue.

I’m about 2yrs old.  I’m a big, beautiful, brindle girl, but I’ll let the pictures tell you the rest of the “tail.”

I was passed around quite a bit when I was younger.  I’m not quite sure how many different homes I had or why I was moved around so much.  I do know, however, that I’ve enjoyed my wonderful foster home, but I’m really looking forward to finally being “furever” settled.
My favorite past time is taking a nap on the couch next to my foster mom.  At my foster house, I also have a foster sister.  My foster sister is working on teaching me to play and how to play nice with toys.  There are tons of toys in the house!  When I pick one out, I love to chew on it.  I may growl a bit when my foster sister tries to take it, but I’m learning that she just wants to play too.
I am also house trained and crate trained.  The crate is probably the best place for me to be during the day.  If you leave me out to roam about, I am sure I would find any food you left on the counter.  I would just assume it was a nice snack you left for me while you were gone!  What can I say?  It’s in a dog’s nature!
Besides being a bit of a counter surfer, I don’t like to share my food very much.  I am sort of afraid that you might take it away and I really, really like food.  I’ll eat anything you put in front of me, and be willing to guard it against anyone who wants to take it away.  My foster sister and I have had a few heated “discussions” regarding food, but my foster mom makes certain we are well separated at eating time so that there are no problems.
I haven’t really spent much time walking on a leash so I would very much enjoy learning what that is all about.  I love running in the back yard and have no interest in going anywhere else except back into the house with my foster mom.

I think I’d really like children; even though I’m not sure that I’ve met very many yet.  I think that as long as my new family works with me and no one tries to take my food, we will have no problem working things out.
I have heard something about patience being a virtue.  Well, that is exactly what I am looking for!  I know that I am a diamond in the rough.  I haven’t had the easiest start to life, so with a little patience and polishing, I know that I will make you proud and grow into a sparkling diamond of the Boxer world.
